Our Statement & Objectives

Zuko Group is a small, focused consultancy. Our direct environmental and social footprint is modest, but we believe good environmental, social, and governance practice should be built in from the start, not bolted on at a later stage.

This page sets out where we're starting from: the UN Sustainable Development Goals we most align with as an AI and technology consultancy for financial services, and what we're actually doing about each one. We'll keep this honest and proportionate to our size, and revisit it as the company develops.

Sustainability Goals

From the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, three are most directly relevant to how we operate and who we work with:

3

Good Health and Well-being

Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all.

8

Decent Work and Economic Growth

Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

9

Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.

How We Aim to Accomplish Each Goal

3

Good Health and Well-being

As a small, remote-friendly team, we keep workloads reasonable, support flexible working, and try to avoid an always-on culture. Good health and well-being is something we treat as a practical, everyday consideration for our own people, not just a policy statement.

8

Decent Work and Economic Growth

We aim to pay fairly and work with reputable partners and suppliers. For our clients, we help financial services firms build more resilient, efficient operations through the responsible use of AI and automation, supporting sustainable growth rather than short-term cost-cutting alone.

9

Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

Innovation is core to what we do. We help financial services firms adopt AI, automation, and modern application development in a considered way, aiming for more resilient, efficient infrastructure without compromising on security or governance.
